Born and raised in the Shuswap, Phaedra Idzan has deep roots and strong community connections in this stunning region of B.C. where new riding of Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies is located. It’s the place she calls home - where she raised her children and where her entire family lives.
Committed to seeing our country thrive economically while ensuring that essential services are there when we need them most, Phaedra is especially compelled to fight for those without a voice.
Drawing on years of leadership experience, including 7 1/2 years with the BC Ministry of Justice, 2 1/2 years with the Yukon Government's Ministry of Justice, and four years leading a team of 25 at a non-profit senior's housing society in Sicamous.
Her leadership skills were proven during tough times, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the devastating 2021 wildfires in Sicamous.
Phaedra is ready to tackle the pressures facing our communities. With passion, determination, and a strong understanding of the challenges ahead, Phaedra knows how to make her experience work to deliver for the residents of Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies.
